Search for 'keychain' in Spotlight and launch the Keychain Access app. Select the login keychain entry in the top left navigator pane, then from the File menu, choose Lock Keychain. OneNote for Mac requires access to OneDrive using a Microsoft account. To create or open notebooks in OneNote, sign in with your Microsoft account or the organizational account you’ve been given by your work or school. A Microsoft account is an email address used to sign in to Microsoft services. Manage OneDrive settings on macOS using property list (Plist) files

Use the following keys to preconfigure or change settings for your users. The keys are the same whether you run the store edition or the standalone edition of the sync app, but the property list file name and domain name will be different. When you apply the settings, make sure to target the appropriate domain depending on the edition of the sync app.

Deploy the sync app settings
Deploy the settings on macOS in the typical way:
Quit the OneDrive application.
Define the settings you want to change by creating a Plist with the values, or use a script to set the default values.
Deploy the settings onto the local computer.
Refresh the preferences cache.
On the next start of OneDrive, the new settings will be picked up.

OneDrive is a component of Office 365, Microsoft’s online suite of services. Before you can store, share, or co‐edit files on OneDrive from your iPad, you have to sign in to OneDrive. Read on to find out how to sign in from Office for the iPad and sign in from a web browser.
The OneDrive app
The App Store offers an application called OneDrive for managing files at OneDrive. You can get versions of the OneDrive app for the iPad, for Windows computers, and for Macintosh computers.
The OneDrive app that works with the iPad has a serious failing: You can’t use it to upload files to OneDrive. However, one of the primary reasons for using Office for the iPad is to be able to take your work with you. You can upload Office files from your laptop or desktop computer to OneDrive and be able to work on these files on the iPad.
Signing in from Office for the iPad
Follow these instructions to sign in to OneDrive from an Office for the iPad application:
Tap the Office button.
This button is located in the upper‐left corner of the screen. The Office window appears.
Tap Sign In.
The Sign In window opens.
Enter the email address you used to subscribe to Office 365 and tap Next.
Enter your password.
Tap Sign In.
You can tell when you’re signed in to Office 365 because your name and the name OneDrive appear in the upper‐left corner of the Office window.
Mar 19, 2020 mac office word keeps freezing I just purchased microsoft office 2011 for mac (university edition i guess). I installed it no problem, and now whenever I try to open word (not any of the other office compents such as power point they work fine) my word freezes up and I have to force quit.
